Sound Healing Certification Program: Basics

Kind Karma® Sound Healing Certification Program is an inspiring, spiritual and magical journey through sound, resonance and overtones. You will learn innovative techniques and practice diverse methods of delivering sound as a way of healing. This course is empowering, innovative, playful, and emphasizes how to use the Gong and other sound healing instruments, such as the Crystal and Tibetan Singing Bowls.

During this training, you will deepen your understanding and experience with the Gong in a professional, fun and experimental way while developing spiritual connectivity with this "Cosmic Sound Resonator." This course will build a solid foundation consisting of playing techniques and listening skills to help you enter into an active state of mindfulness, self-awareness and meditation. You will soon discover playing the Gong will elicit clear states of consciousness and facilitate authentic personal and spiritual insight.

As you progress with this training, you will begin to delve into the qualities of "holding space that is sacred, healing and filled with harmonious resonance."

We will be teaching how to play different types of Gongs, Tibetan & Crystal Singing Bowls, Chimes, Rainsticks, and other sound healing instruments to provide an inspiring, enriched, and well-rounded learning experience. There will be adequate 'free time' to process information and to have one’s own ‘me time' to experience the variety of Gongs and other healing instruments. Our training encourages students to interact with each other and forge new friendships.

This course is open to all, and no prior experience with the Gong, or any other sound healing instrument, is necessary.

Landscape of the gong. Types of Gongs. Use of different gong mallets.
Playing the Gong. Techniques #1 & #2. Gong strokes and specific techniques for single and combination mallet strikes.
The effects of playing different areas and percussion points. 4 Quadrants. Intro: Sound with rhythm and playing patterns.
The importance of intuition, listening, breathing during gong playing.
Hung gong strokes.
Crystal & Tibetan Singing Bowls. Instructions. Playing. Useful Tips.
Chakra Toning, Healing and Yoga.
In addition: several easy-to-use healing sound instruments will be introduced.
